Answers needed please?

ok i am going to repeat my question and now it wil make more sense...my sisters bf housemate is 27 and when i first met him we hit it off and then said that he wanted to hook up...but i dont want a relationship and told him that from the start...he doesnt want one either so we agreed its only a bit of fun...he has been hurt in previous relationships and i dont want to confuse the lad and mess up his head...but he seems adamant that we can hook up ...but no relationships as some end badly as i dont want this to happen as we are both going to be godparents to my sisters baby...do you think this is going to end badly...we talked alot the night i was with him and we found out loads about each other...but i wouldnt sleep with him first time off as im not makin dat mistake again...he said that its up to me whenever ;) so maybe :P
