Are there any news websites that have short, simple summaries of current events?

I am trying to keep up on my current events, but I don't ever have time to sit down and read all of these long, wordy articles. Does anyone know of a news website or android app that keeps their articles short, to the point, and as honest as possible (ha. yeah right)
