How do i treat acne and sensitive skin?

I went to the doctor and got a prescription for acne, ask for the prescription but they say u need to cleanse before using topical products so i found a cleanser which is ALSO a moisturizer AND for sensitive skin! they say using sensitive skin cleanser even if u don't have sensitive skin is the best because it doesn't dry out your skin, plus the moisture in it helps prevent scars, this cleanser is over the counter and is called "basis" it is in a bar.
