Why has Game's career collapsed?

I kept thinkin he would take the next step after The Documentary (great album), but for some reason he could never pull the trigger so to speak. Now he been reduced to makin stupid DatPiff tapes, and you can tell he's got nothin new to rap about. Why did his career collapse like that.
